The 2022 Australasian Aid Conference hosted by the Development Policy Centre-Australian National University, in partnership with The Asia Foundation will bring together practitioners and researchers working on aid and international development policy from across Australia, the Asia- Pacific and beyond to share insights, promote collaboration, and enrich the research community.
At this event, AWP will convene a session to launch a publication titled, ‘Climate Change and Water Security in the Indo-Pacific: Risks, Responses and a framework for Action,’ co-authored by Dr Hemant Ojha (Institute for Study and Development Worldwide) and Professor Nicholas Schofield (Global Future Research).
The session will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Climate Risk and Water Security in the Indo-Pacific: How should development partners support local responses?’ and will bring perspectives from the five socioecological zones outlined in the report – mountain towns, dry zones, delta zones, Pacific Islands, and large coastal cities.
