The 23rd Partnership Summit will be held on 27-28 January 2017 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
With this year’s theme ‘Partnerships for Sustained Growth in an Emerging Global Economic Order’, the Summit aims to further partnerships and build ideologies based on shared aspirations that bind societies together in a knowledge driven world. Since 1995, the Partnership Summit has established itself as one of the important international business events in India and a significant platform to connect and foster partnerships between governments, businesses, and industries from across the globe.
The summit is organised by the Economic Development Board (EDB), Government of Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The EDB has been established with a mission to promote investments into the ‘sunrise state’ of Andhra Pradesh. It is the one point contact for external engagement, trade and investments into Andhra Pradesh.

The state has witnessed the highest growth in corporate investments in India and continues to draw the attention of investors globally. All efforts are underway to sustain the double-digit growth rate in GDP for the next two decades and to make Andhra Pradesh one of the top 3 states in India by 2022 and a developed state by 2029.
An Australian delegation has been invited to participate in the summit, which is being led by the Consul-General for South India, Sean Kelly. The key objectives that may be of interest to AWP Partners is innovating partnerships for sustainable development, and India’s integration with South and South-East Asia.
