The textile industry is said to be responsible for 20 per cent of Asia’s water pollution problems. The AWS has been working with the Australian Fashion Council and the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) to build a focus on water management and pollution reduction. Hear from Kehua Hu, Deputy Director, Corporate Social Responsibility Office, CNTAC and Zhenzhen Xu, Regional Manager, AWS on building sustainable supply chains in the apparel industry.
This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from people working on the ground in China and the Asia Pacific region to grow good water stewardship in industry supply chains. These speakers are in Australia to further develop the partnership with the Australian Fashion Council.
