Join the Australian delegation to Vietwater’18
The Australian Water Association in partnership with the Vietnam Water Association and the Australian and Vietnam Governments are coordinating the 4th Australian delegation to Vietwater’18, in Ho Chi Minh City, 5-9 November. This is part of the Australian Government’s and AWA’s program of activities to connect the water sectors of Vietnam and Australia and builds from the largest Australian delegations to ever travel to Vietnam for Vietwater’15, ’16 and ’17 with over 250 Australian delegates. The Australian program is coordinated with the Vietwater exhibition which attracts over 15,000 delegates from over 500 countries. The program for Australian delegates includes:
- Pre-departure and in-country market briefings including water professionals working in Vietnam
- Site visit to water treatment plants in the Mekong
- Welcome reception hosted by the Australian Ambassador and Australian Consul-General
- Dedicated, free-standing booth within Australian Pavilion
- Pre-arranged one-on-one business introductions with potential clients
- Present your services and technologies during the technical workshops
- Meet the water delegation from Cambodia during the Australia-Cambodia technology innovation workshop
- Showcase technology for potential selection in demonstration projects in Vietnam
- Receive information on sectors and potential business partners
- Receive information on Vietnamese rules and regulations
- Meet with 10 Australian and Vietnam water utilities involved in the Australia – Vietnam Water Utility Improvement Program
- Participate in the with Women of Water workshop and get involved in the Australia – Vietnam women of water network
- Meet with representatives from across the Vietnam water sector
