Grantley is Program Manager of the Australian Water Partnership and has over 15 years’ experience in policy development and environmental management across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
During 2014-15, Grantley provided consultancy services to develop and implement a whole-of-life-cycle approach to chemical management for ICON Water, and in doing so achieved ISO accreditation for chemical management and organisational safety for the organisation.
Prior to this, he was a Senior Project Manager with the Australian Government Department of Environment and the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), Senior Environmental Policy Analyst for the National Association of Forest Industries, Executive Officer for ACT Forests, Business Strategy Manager for ACT NOWaste, and National Advocacy Officer for Diabetes Australia.
Grantley has diverse experience in managing national and international programs in the areas of water resource management, sustainability, climate change, emissions trading, carbon sequestration, and chemical management. Examples include the development and implementation of the Water Efficiency Opportunities Program and delivery of election commitment projects under the National Urban Water and Desalination Plan. He also prepared the inaugural Environmental Strategic Plan for FaHCSIA, which was adopted in 2008.
