The Asia International Water Week (AIWW) is the Asia Water Council’s triennial flagship event and is organised in collaboration with the authorities of the host country. It gathers global water stakeholders to seek tangible solutions to address key Asian water issues.

The 2nd AIWW had a virtual launch ceremony on 24 February 2021 to present the AIWW On-Air program. The AIWW On-Air is a series of virtual conferences organised as a preliminary event to raise global interest and encourage participation in the 2nd AIWW. AWP moderated the first of six one-hour panel seminars focussed on Water Security for Sustainable Growth on 4 March 2021.

The 2nd AIWW took place in-person and online from 16-18 March 2022. AWP was a champion for Theme 1 – Water Security and Sustainable Growth. Under this theme, AWP co-organised sessions on Catalysing integrated water policy, Building inclusive water system resilience, and Water security in the Small Island States (SIDS).
