Australia has been implementing a program of reform in the way water is used and managed across the nation for over thirty years, striving for a water sector that is economically and environmentally sustainable, provides a secure basis for future investment and yields high returns to the community.

Because of its long and largely successful experience, Australia is increasingly being asked to share its expertise with other countries in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond as they pursue their own sustainable water management pathways.

This Panel Session will explore Australia’s International Water Agenda from different perspectives. What is the nature of the international water challenge and what can Australia offer? What is Australia and the Australian Water Partnership doing to assist internationally? How is Australia engaged in the High Level Panel on Water? How can South Australians contribute?

This event is co-hosted by the Australian Water Partnership and the South Australian office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Register below to attend and submit your details to reserve your seat. Registrations close Monday 12 June.
