International Soil and Water Forum

9-11 December 2024 | Bangkok, Thailand (Hybrid Event) 

Co-organised by Food and Agricultural Organization of United Nations (FAO) and Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of the Royal Thai Government, the International Soil and Water Forum marks the world’s first high-level framework to stop and reverse soil degradation and water scarcity, essential for ensuring future food and water security.   

The forum attracts heads of state, ministers and technical specialists to devise innovative strategies and share best practices for sustainable soil and water management.  

Participants will explore practical solutions for water accounting and equitable allocation, with discussions focusing on integrated land use, land governance and climate resilient approaches for better management of natural resources.
