The Overlooked Secret to Building Climate Resilience – Webinar Series – Part 1

Join the first session in AWP’s three-part webinar series on the nexus between GEDSI (gender equality, disability, and social inclusion) and climate resilience in water resources management.

AWP, supported by the Australian Government, has reviewed its programs to identify good practice GEDSI and climate resilience case studies, and this series shares the tools, resources and lessons that have come out of that work with partners and the broader development community.

Webinar 1:  The overlooked secret to building climate resilience

Date: Monday, 27 July 2026
Time: 12:00–13:00 AEST
Format: Online via Zoom

This session brings together two case studies from AWP-supported projects:

  • Insights from Australian and Thai women farmers on building climate resilience through farmer-to-farmer knowledge exchange.
  • How climate resilience and inclusive, locally led approaches shaped a water quality project in Kathmandu.

Speakers:
Anna Kelliher, Director and Principal. RMCG
Anna has extensive experience in sustainable agriculture, irrigation and stakeholder engagement. She has a particular interest in supporting women’s participation and leadership in the agricultural sector.

Anoushka Pandey, Water, Policy and GEDSI Specialist
