Organised by the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, Vietnam Water Week 2024 will bring together government representatives, international organisations, experts, and business leaders to address pressing water issues. Under the theme, ‘Developing Vietnam’s Water Sector – Security, Safety, Efficiency, and Integration,’ the event will feature seminars on water laws, wastewater treatment, and climate change solutions, along with visits to notable water supply and sewerage facilities. A Water and Wastewater Exhibition will also showcase new technologies and practices promoting safe and responsible water use, while offering networking opportunities to expand cooperation in the water sector.
Water Stewardship Asia Pacific will participate in Vietnam Water Week and present on ‘Practical Experience in Implementing Water Management Activities for Climate Change Adaptation in Australia’. The presentation will explore Australian case studies to highlight how water stewardship principles can tackle unique yet shared water challenges, including degrading water quality, increased floods and drought events, with a strong focus on multi-stakeholder engagement.
