  • Policy Platform Review, Victorian Water Industry Association
With its members, VicWater developed a Policy Platform as the foundation for its primary mission of advocating for the Victorian water industry to government. VicWater engaged Proud Mary to revise the Policy Platform in consultation with a Policy Advisory Committee drawn from its membership, three water corporation Managing Directors, and a panel of independent experts. We designed and facilitated workshops tailored to each of these three audiences. Based on the ideas, knowledge and opinions shared in these workshops, we successfully revised the Policy Platform, which has been adopted and published by VicWater; see
  • Development of a Climate Resilience Framework
A regional water corporation engaged Proud Mary to work with it to develop a framework to identify and address key physical risks to the organisation that could disrupt its services to its customers.
  • Decision-Making Framework for Carbon Offset Use
Melbourne Water engaged Proud Mary to develop a Decision-Making Framework for Carbon Offset Use to inform its decision making on carbon offset purchases. The Framework was developed in consultation with all Victorian water corporations. In consultation with the client, Proud Mary researched and wrote an extensive discussion paper on the challenges of selecting quality carbon offsets. We used this discussion paper as the basis for consultation and designed and facilitated an online workshop for forty water industry participants to build understanding of carbon offsets and develop a consensus position on a decision-making framework. The Decision-Making Framework and associated report have been adopted by the industry as a whole and are published by VicWater. See
