Kathleen Mary Broderick

Broderick and Associates through owner and principal consultant Dr Kathleen Broderick provides high level negotiation and alliance building expertise combined with practical and grounded social research and community engagement practice. With over 30 years? experience in providing capacity building initiatives into the natural resource management sector, Kathleen brings leadership experience, knowledge of research and highly developed skills in facilitation and negotiation. Kathleen has successfully developed public policy, worked with Boards and Committees to review organisations and manage risk, formed productive alliances, and contributed strongly to regional development. She has a hands on approach with proven success in forming purposeful, small, smart teams that deliver results.

Projects

  • Farmlands Alternative Water Supply Trial - Water Corporation (with Hauck and Associates) 2016
    This project aimed to identify alternate water supplies for farmers in the Eastern Wheatbelt of Western Australia and my contribution was framing the demographic analysis of the area and an assessment of the social and economic considerations for implementation.
  • Evaluation of the Royalties for Regions investment into Education in rural Western Australia (with Miles Morgan) 2015
    As principal consultant my role involved framing the evaluation, liasising with the client, managing the project team, supervise and contribute to field research, finalise the report, and report to client.
  • NRM Regional Strategy - Progress Report 2013
    This region was one of the first in Australia to report on progress of the implementation of the Regional NRM Strategy.   • Sharing best practice in NRM- Cairns 2012
    This project was developed as both a showcase of regional NRM and as a capacity development activity. I designed and facilitated the one day session that was aimed at demonstrating best practice in line with the Regional NRM Organisation Performance Framework.
