With deep contextual knowledge and extensive networks in both Australian and Indo-Pacific water sectors, we are uniquely positioned to share relevant expertise from the Australian industry to alleviate poverty and contribute to economic development outcomes in the region.

ISF senior personnel are nationally and internationally renowned as thought leaders within the water sector. Additionally, we are recognised for our quality-applied research, which generates solutions in collaboration with our partners facilitate change. Our partnership approach is core to our success, and we work within the industry to develop systems and organisational capacities for learning through knowledge sharing.

ISF has conducted strategic water sector planning in Australia and internationally including: risk and resilience assessment; demand forecasting; real options assessment; developing water efficiency strategies; decision support tools; and drought response strategies. In Indo-Pacific countries we engage with national and local governments, water users and the private sector to develop effective policies, regulations, incentive structures and industry/business models for sustainable, equitable water and sanitation services. We work in urban and rural contexts including addressing affordability and water quality needs, and competing demands between irrigation and other users.

The ISF personnel listed have on-ground experience and relationships with water industry actors in countries across the globe, including in South-East Asia, South Asia, Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.
