Ayeyarwady–Murray-Darling Basin Twinning
Background
Capacity-building activities are a priority in the Ayeyarwady Basin, where there is urgent demand for river management expertise in a range of fields.
Planning began for a basin-to-basin twinning program between the Murray-Darling and the Ayeyarwady Basins to facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building initially between specialists from the Murray-Darling Basin Authority and their counterparts in the Ayeyarwady Basin.
