Since May 2016, we have been supporting a major capacity development program for the Pacific Water and Wastewater Association (PWWA), leading to enhanced facilities for collective action among 29 utilities across 20 Pacific Island countries.  The PWWA is the peak association bringing Pacific water utility organisations together to collaborate, exchange knowledge and work collectively.

The YWP Program supported by AWP is the first PWWA program to promote professional development tailored to individual utilities. The YWP participant exit surveys indicated high approval of the course material, likelihood of sustained contact between participants, and intent of participants to apply the skills learned within their own workplaces.
